objectGUID from Active directory into a format that MS SQL 2005

(OP)
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I am getting the
objectGUID from Active directory and changing it into a format that MSSQL 2005 understands like

EFD434E418BAC6468F3344A136FFE222

I do this using Coldfusion like so.

 <cfset results.objectGUID = binaryencode(results.objectGUID,"HEX")>

However I would like to be able to convert the

EFD434E418BAC6468F3344A136FFE222 back into a format where it can be used as a filter in the active directory LDAP filter.

Any ideas?
