Hello;

I am running into a problem where I login the System Terminal and input LD 11.

I thought you are then prompted with a REQ: ?

Instead I see:

TTY 08 SCH MTC BUG    12:30
OVL111 IDLE    0
>

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Jordan

Looks like another terminal may already be logged in to that overlay.
At the > type who
This should tell you all TTY's logged in

When I opened up the system terminal window I typed in:

LOGI <authorized username>
PASS? <entered correct password>

Then it displays a WARNING:   THE PROGRAMS AND DATA STORED ON THIS SYTEM ARE LICENSED TO AND ARE THE PROPERTY OF NORTEL NETWORKS, ETC ETC ETC.

Nobody else was logged in.

TTY 08 SCH MTC BUG    12:30
OVL111 IDLE    0

first line is the adan + user of the current TTY
second like says nothing is in background.

You should see an OVL message that tells you why you were unable to get in.  So, we didn't see enough of your terminal session.

Might have to wait if you have tried too many times, it does lock you out but resets.
