Hello. I need to change the mailbox greeting for our company but cannot access the mailbox - my boss has forgotten the password. Please let me know what are my options. I'm using an Nortel Norstar M7324 phone. With many thanks, A.

You need to read up on the voice mail using the Setup and Operations Guide.
In there is the reset instructions etc, passwords not allowed on these forums.

Note most company greetings are not mailboxes, they use  greeting tables, or CCR which is much more complex.

Suggest you get a tech in to sort out the issue and a crash course on admin training.

Second that.

If you have the manual, and are trying to log into f983, then to reset the password you'll have to press f985...

Thank you all. It's a very small business so the mailbox is pretty basic. The manual that I've got doesn't offer reset as an option - just change, and that requires old password.. So thank you. I found the reset part of the manual online and will try it out tomorrow. I'm also deeply grateful for this site. Have a blessed day. A.

Google this: Norstar Setup and Operations Guide
That is the proper admin guide.

if it is a simple mbox password reset do this.

Feature 983
login either 120000 and ok or 1020000 and ok
press mbox button
enter mailbox number (same as extension number)
enter reset password
press release key

reset that mailbox password back to default 0000 and then you can change.

Hope that works for ya.
