Hi everyone

Is there a way to have a welcome message before that attendant rings on CO incoming calls!
I don't talk about automated attendant, just a welcome message and then the attendant rings.
The only way I found: is to program a DISA (PGM140) and then PGM160 Flex4 =0, and we wait for rerouting to attendant but it's not professionnal and we have to wait sometimes

Thanks a lot

To do a "work around" on this problem we often made a ring group in PGM190-191, and added a welcome and repeating queue message to the group. The only member(s) is (are) the attendant(s).If you are using analog lines use PGM144 to answer the calls, or PGM231 with ISDN.
Works! Simple and easy.

Let me know if I understood your requirements:
In incomming calls, you want, hear welcome message, then the incomming call goes to attendant.
If so, tray this:
PGM 140: Select CO, update tool:
select day box, message:x <<<<<<<<<<X is your welcome message.
If the caller does not dial any digits within the Inter-digit Time (5 sec), the call will be routed to the Assigned
Ring Station, so you must have CO Ring Assignment to attendant (PGM 144/145)

The problem is that the caller can dial Morenot and the customer doesn't want that
I will try doktor solution, it seems to be the best!

OK Doktor
It work perfectly
How can I forward a hunt group to a voice mail to leave messages if no answer on hunt group
I can only forward a station not a group to voice mail, and if the station is in this goup and forwarded when no answer, the station doesn't ring at all???
Is there an issue for this

You must overflow to a station (physical extension) that has diversion (FWD) to the VMIB.

If callers leave a message, the message lamp will light up.

But I thought that overflow was when queue is full isn't it??
doktor (IS/IT--Management)

The overflow takes place when the queue is full or all agents have logged out (Forwarded their phones to another destination).
If one of these statements are fullfulled, then calls to the hunt group number will transfer the call to the overflow position. If this position is a station (extension), the this phone can be forwarded to VMIB - to give callers a message about that "your call to this call centre group is being answered by an answering maschine due to the call came in after closing hours".

Ok great I will check this tomorrow

Yes it works for unconditional forwarding but when you forward on no answer the station doesn't ring at all.
You can see on the OP that there's one call in queue of the groupe but the OP doesn't ring!!!!
Very strange it should ring since there's only the OP in the group

Ok I got it!
It's not about overflow but we have to activate ALT if no member, and then set PO as ALT position
This way it works!!!

Thank you for your update!
