Help!

I use Lotus Notes R5 and i have been passed an NSF file to convert to PST format.

The trouble I have is that when trying to open the file (702MB)i recieve a message;
"file is not a database"

i have assumed that this is a genuine NSF file and that i need do nothing to make it compatible with version R5.

i believe that there is business critical data on this file. I do not know the history of the file to say permissions or problems previously encountered.

Can anyone help me access the contained data? even a small portion of the content would be better than nothing.
