I have created a "Create New Contact Form" that I would like to add code to the load event in order make sure that it opens in add new record only. I will have a save button that when users click on it will save the record and close the form. But I want to make sure that they can only enter one contact at a time.

  1. Have a look at the forms Data Entry property.
  2. You can also open a form in add mode only (same as Data Entry) with:

    CODE

       DoCmd.OpenForm "YourFormName", , , , acFormAdd
