scef and occlusion files?

scef and occlusion files?

(OP)
Hi,

I'm new to vrml and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to open a vrml scene I've been given. The scene comes with 3 files and 1 folder. The files are: 1 .wrl file with the name of the scene, 1 file called "occlusion.wrl", one .scef file, and a folder containing an animation sequence of png image files.

I've tried opening both .wrl files with notepad but they seem to be in binary format, not ascii, and winrar won't open them either (I've heard that sometimes ascii wrl files are compressed with gzip). The scef file does seem to contain vrml tags, but nothing shows when I open it with my browser (which has a vrml player installed, tested and working).

Any ideas on how I can open this scene would be greatly aprecciated.

Thanks!!
