Laserjet 3005n will not come out of sllep mode

I have a laserjet 3005n that will not come out of sleep mode. If I turn ity off and right back on it will say initiallizing and them stop booting. If I leave it off for abot 15 minutes it will boot back up. As soon as it goes into sleep mode again, it locks up. Any ideas?

Please make sure the printers firmware is up to date -> 02.041.0 - 16 Oct 2008.
It was a "known issue" in the earlier fw versions that the printer would hang and never leave sleepmode when a job was sent to the printer or you tried accessing it from the control panel/EWS.

I had to load the updated fw twice, but it seems to have done the trick. Thanks.
