Pagemaker Search Engine

Pagemaker Search Engine

(OP)
Does anyone know of a search engine that will search text across multiple pagemaker files.  I don't believe the windows search engine can find text inside pagemaker files.

RE: Pagemaker Search Engine

There's no easy way. PM files are very complex.

The only sure way is open the PM file with PageMaker to use the "Find" facility, and even then it has to be Story Edit mode.

Then there's issue that PM is effectively obsolete, and needs WinXP or earlier versions of Windows.
