RE: Error: -16216 Blocksize not supported

Hello.
Only 2kb and 16kb buffer pool pages are available to the on-device version of Mimer. At least by using its default settings. If you are seeing this error message it is because the server attempts to open a table wider than can be fitted into a 16 kb page. I am not aware of the exact table width you can use in a 16 kb page, but it is about 4000 bytes.

It may be hard to know exactly how many bytes each of the various datatypes consume, including any overhead. To know your tables are correct already when working with the emulator, you may disable 64 kb buffer pool pages on that database.

Start the Mimer Administrator, right click your database, select Properties, choose the Memory tab, set the field "64K Pages" to zero (0). If you do this you will catch the error earlier on, perhaps already when creating the table.
