Strange error when printing - NTVDM.EXE stop running ?

PieroF62 (Programmer)

Hi,
we have a strage problem that happens not always.
We have many foxpro 2.6 program installed and all is ok.

Sometimes, when we release a new version of a program, a report of this program stop working.

The small window "Printing..." in the middle of the screen remains fixed, and the program is blocked.
Using task manager is possible to terminate the program (windows error is refers to ntvdm.exe)

For a better knowledge :
- the report is not a new report (of the new release) but a report that exist.
- this error happens one time every 4-5 new version.
- this error happens only run the stand-alone EXE of the program (not happens if running the EXE of the program inside foxpro 2.6)
- the same report in the previous version work fine
- the changes of the new version do not concern the screen of the report that not work.

We have (fortunately) find a solution, but that does not make sense :

1) add a button (and make it invisible) in the screen that run the report
2) rebuild the project
3) ...for other 3 or 4 versions everything worked well !!!

Any one have an answer to this problem ?
Thank and sorry for my bad english.
Peter
