Hi, kinda out of practice with Novell.  Have a 6.5 server with a volume that is needing to be deleted so that I can add the space to another existing volume.  When I go to imananger it won't allow me to delete the volume.  I can browse to the volume but all the menu items remain grayed out.  Any help would be appreciated.  We never used imanager much used consoleone and nwadmin. Thanks Breeze

I always used the NSSMU utility (typed at the command line) to manage my volumes, pools, partitions etc.  But, I never had a traditional volume on a server at that point.  You definitely want to get rid of all your traditional volumes.  I even did a complete server reload to rid my system of all of them (and for some other leftover hangover issues).  It ran MUCH better with all NSS volumes with no hardware change.

You could try Netware Remote Manager.  Lots of options for dealing with volumes, disks, etc.

The only way I know of to manage a traditional volume on NW6.5 is to use the Remote Manager.
