The server that holds my database had numerous abends.  I needed to restart the server and ever since then, the Inventory database will not start.  I receive the follwing error:

cannot open dbspace 'CIM1' from file 'mgmtdb1.db'  I receive this for all db directories

I also receive vol1\zenworks\database\nal\db\nal.db is not a valid dataase file

Can someone please help.  I do not know zenworks but was informed that I needed to fix this prolem.

Probably should run a Pool Rebuild to ensure the integrity of it.  NSS /poolrebuild

Then understand that the inventory can be recreated, so its no big deal to blow away the databases if necessary and let them repopulate.

You wouldn't happen to have compression enabled on the volume the DB files live on would you?
