Outline view won't turn off

Outline view won't turn off

Please outline view won't turn off in IllustratorCS (windows). I select "Preview" & it toggles right back to outline. I have restarted my computer & everything, but it is stuck in outline view. Does anyone have a solution?

RE: Outline view won't turn off

Try this key command.

Apple (Control for windows) Y

RE: Outline view won't turn off

Yes...I have tried it....many times! It goes right back to outline view. Another Illustrator user said this happened to them one time & it was just before their system crashed. I am hastily backing up now.

I received an error code today...error 129. I haven't found any info relating to this code...anyone hear of it?

RE: Outline view won't turn off

Try quitting AI and trashing preferences.  Then relaunch and see if it's fixed.  Number one cause of problems is corrupted prefs.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook
