Looking for a simple IP Address management software solution

I was wondering if someone out there has information on a good IP address management software solution.  I've looked around, and most everything that I found is either A) Too in depth for my needs, or B) Too much $$$.

What I'm looking for is a program that I can run (from my local PC, not a server) that will allow me to IP scan/ping multiple subnets.  Once a subnet scan is complete, I would want to get the results displayed in a report showing which IP's were pingable, what hostnames belong to which IP's/devices, as well as historical data (how long has this IP been unpingable).

I've found one solution, IPPingTool which nearly does everything I need it to do, except for the historical data part, which is what I need most.  Basically I need to scan my subnets a couple times a week for about 6 months to see which IP's are in use, and which one can be reassigned.  Without historical data, this becomes quite the busy work.

As mentioned, I'm not opposed to shelling out a couple hundred $ for something that will do what I need it to do, but I just cant drop 2k+ on a bloated solution where I'll never use 90% of the features.

Any advice or experiences welcomed!  THANKS!

I do not think it is a big deal, what you are asking. I do not know of any program, but if needed I can ask someone I know could do it very well. If interested you can email at info at iunisoft dot com
