Project can't see JDK

Project can't see JDK

(OP)
I have a project that shows errors java.io, java.lang, java.util, etc. as not able to resolve. I have to use JDK 1.3 and my class path seems to be correct in installed JRE's, but for some reason, the packages and imports are not recognized. I have been using Eclipse for a long time and this is the first tim I have had this problem.

RE: Project can't see JDK

Did you check in your project's properties ("Java build path" item) that the jre is present in the "libraries" tab ?

Yes, and it is there, it is also in the Order and Export tab at the top.

RE: Project can't see JDK

And all the related jars are present under the "JRE system Library" line ?
If so, did you check the "build automatically" item in "Project" menu ?

Another test : try a clean of your project using menu "Project/Clean..."

RE: Project can't see JDK

Check Preferencies > Java > Installed JREs.
