Any tips for recovering a corrupt FH8 file (Mac)?

The message just reads "could not complete your request because an error occurred".  Tried all networked computers, FH*, FH10 and Illustrator CS2 - no luck.  Are there any utilities that might work?

Apparantly freehand saves a temp0 file on your system.

FreeHand Temp Files

http://www.freehandsource.com/_frames/_tips/_troubleshooting/troubleshooting_025.html

So you could try to find one of the earlier incremental saves if there are multiple temp0 files and provided you saved the document a few times.

Theres lots of file recovery progs....www.google.com, also
"recover corrupt freehand file" in search engine.

Coreldraw imports fh8. (fh9/10 with less success), could try that despite cross platform difference.)
