I am getting the following error message when trying to run a query:
 FATAL ERROR IN DATABASE I/O. FOCUS TERMINATING  ERROR WRITING FOCSORT , PAGE 262144, CODE 0x0000cccc

Has anybody ever encountered this error and if yes, what the solution was?

You've exceeded the maximum number of pages for FOCSORT (256K pages). Have you tried using an external sort?

You could also be running out of space for the focsort file. Try giving it more space.

Thanks for the replies.  It's been determined it is a known issue with 7.3.8.  It is supposed to be fixed for the 7.6 release.
