Please, My ISA firewall service would not start. i just don't know what happened. Checked the dependable services and yet nothing. plz, someone help me as i cannot afford an exposed LAN. i need help like 2million yrs ago!!!!!

Why it can not start? What is the error message?

Dear InfrArch, thanks for your kind response. I was just leaving my Server Room where I tried some suggestions:

The error message says the Microsoft Firewall could not start. Saw an error report in the System Event View, "Error 2 (ox2)" I use ISA 2004 on WIndows Server 2003 Sp1. plz i really need your great assistance.

Interesting ... Anyway if ISA FW Service is in stopped state you LAN isn't exposed to the Internet as ISA becomes "closed box" which is called Lockdown mode.
What is your ISA's version: 2k, 2k4 or 2k6?
Have it aver worked before? What did you change and after that FW service can not start? What is your topology?
Do you have latest ISA conf backup available?

i use 2k4, it had worked though we were told that it was taking up lots of Bandwidth space.
Yes it had worked before. Iz was trying to allow a service:Citrix ICA. That was the last tihing i remember i did. Aftewr which it syay Microsoft Firewall could not restart. its always in the stopping mode viewwing from Services.msc.

my topology is like this: I have a WAN(Ciscon Router)-ISA-LAN. I am very new to ISA but learning fast. Don't have available your last question.
