Is it possible to run a Xterm within a tcl/tk widget?

You can invoke one using exec xterm & if you mean what I think you mean (running something like an xterm window inside your widget) it could get messy.
This should do the trick for a mini xterm (ie one line no output)
textentry .t -variable cmd
button .b -text "Run" -command { exec xterm -e $cmd & }
pack .t .b


There is some way of capturing output, I'm not near any of my tcl stuff right now so I'll post it when I find it.
