adding work type

How do I add a new work type? From what I have read in the Control Center manual this is done by adding "Multisite Setup" to the signature security of the goup I belong to. I have done that but it does not appear in the "Administration" dropdown in Control Center when I logon. Is there another way to get to the work type table to make modifications?

I'm using Maximo 5.2 and I do not use control panel to create a new work type, I just enter the address however it is set up on your system (http://maximo:port/)

app/multisite/site.jsp <-- add this to the end of the URL after you have logged in. you should then be able to find it :)
