Trying to revive an old NT4 Server to get some data off, we managed to recreate the default user accounts. Problem is we don't know the Administrator password.
Will reinstalling the software solve our problem?
Thanks

Go to www.petri.co.il which has methods for recovering lost passwords.  Worst case you can also install NT under another directory and retrieve the files from there.

Try out the Emergency Boot CD at http://ebcd.pcministry.com/

You can reset the administrator password with this utility.
