T640 router is booting from alternate media i.e hard disk

hi, can anyone help me.

T640 router is booting from hard disk instead of compact-flash. Already verified that compact-flash is there in the bootlist.

thanks in advance

RE: T640 router is booting from alternate media i.e hard disk

If the flash in the bootlist, it needs to be reloaded.
If you've already reloaded/swapped RE's you can do a show chassis hardware detail and see if the part num/serial num of the flash is wierd (this will happen with a corrupt flash).
