We have Raidgroup in clariion and all the Lun's should be associated to any one of the raidgroup in the clariion.

Is there is any similar concept of raidgroup in symmetrix and all the lun's(Sym device) should be associated to any one of the raidgroup in the Symmetrix.

There are no RAID groups on the DMX.

Logical drives on the DMX are known as Hyper volumes. These are slices of a phyisical disk. Mulitiple hypers can be combined to make a meta volume and that would be presented to your host.

FYI, the older Symmetrix line did not support Raid groups but the new DMX lines does support Raid 5 along with mirroring....
