EasyMail SMTP error

EasyMail SMTP error

(OP)
Guess who, winky smile. Hello everybody, I'm back with another question.

I have installed SMTP and setup voicemail to for email alerts. I have changed the email setting from MAPI to SMTP in VMPro preferences and made changes to the SMTP option in Control Panel.

However, when I leave a vmail, the following error shows up in the application log:-

Event Type:    Error
Event Source:    EasyMail SMTP Object
Event Category:    None
Event ID:    4098
Date:        7/26/2007
Time:        10:40:36 PM
User:        NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer:    PHONESERVER
Description:
EasyMail SMTP error!
Server:xxx.xx.xxx.xx
07/26/07 22:40:36
554 5.5.2 No valid recipients

Any solutions/suggestions is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Just in case you were wondering, I have enabled the email option and entered the email address in Phone Manager.

RE: EasyMail SMTP error

Did you start the VM Pro service on a local administrator account or as a system account.
The log states that the system account could not send mail so try to start the service with a normal user account with admin rights.
