NS-204 Firewall

NS-204 Firewall

(OP)

Hi Guys,

I am using NS-204 firewall in my network right now. Cisco-CAT4006 Core Switch and 3500 series Access Switches. In WAN side Router i am using 7200 series router.

My current scenario is Core switch----NS-Firewall---WAN Router----FR Circuit. Right now i have only One NS firewall in my network , planning to put another NS for resundancy purpose then it will act as ACTIVE and standby.

Can anybody suggesst me physical as well as logical designe for my 2nd NS firewall and config also.

Thanks & Regards,
Jerry

RE: NS-204 Firewall

Hello Jerry,

There is a "Netscreen Solutions" forum that you can post in as well.  With the NS-204's, you can go Active/Active or Active/Passive using NSRP Clustering.  Which do you prefer?  Let me know.

Rgds,

John
