I have 2 HP48GX's and an HP48G+

I am concerned about what to do when (if) they are no longer usable. How do the later HP calculators compare with these? I think HP produced HP49G+, HP49GII, and HPg50 calculators before discontinuing manufacture.

I have used Casio & TI calculators, but so far have not found anything comparable to the 48GX.

I owned an HP48GX and an HP49G. I never looked at the HP50.

The HP49G graphed slower and the keys were rubber, which was a shame. On the bright side of things, the screen was a bit bigger and had 5 lines by default, which you could only get on the HP48GX with the tool Q-PI-Sqrt. The interface was also a bit better.

I think I'd pick an HP49 interface if it had the HP48's keys. Again.. Can't speak for HP50.

i can talk about the 50g... its lcd is a little bigger, 131*80, it gives two more lines in stack. its processor is an ARM of 75Mhz...
It means that more velocity and resources are available to program and use...
Keys are better than 49g+, but i would like that ENTER key was in its traditional RPN place.
