DL580 Server Developed Problems

Hi
My Mail DL580 has had a knock on its FANs and now it cannot come up. I have a similar DL580 with similar controllers infact the servers were delivered same day. The othe server is running less critical application. If I record the disks and the banks they are installed in and move the Mail server disks to the working DL580 server will this work? Or Do I need to first do something.
