Hi
I installed Daemon software and in the middle of
the install Vista rebooted. Each time now I get to
the desktop, Vista reboots. I`m trying to remove
the daemon application but Vista reboots before I
can delete the file. I`ve never seen this strange
problem before. Note: I did make the mistake of not
installing it as an administrator. It looks like I`ll
have to do a complete reinstallation. Any ideas.

On your way to re-installing Vista from your DVD you will pass the Startup recovery options, it might be worthwhile trying those out, you never know they may work.

Did you try the "Last known Good Configuration" , "Disable automatic restart on system failure", and Disable Driver Signature Enforcement options from the F8 Advanced Options Safe Mode screen?
