Hey guys,

I am planning on getting trained to become an industrial robotics programmer.

I found this website www.motomancourses.com on the internet and was wondering if the skills that are included in the CIRP program they offer would apply in the real world.

I realize this is a robotics posting, but we are learning how to program robots using Windows interfaces as well as other robotic technology software.

Thanks.

Probably the best thing to look into for this arena (at least most practical and in demand) is programming of CNC machines.  Basically the use of computers to control what a tool does (like on a line).

CNC's are everywhere!
If you've already got something established, stay with it techking....you're a great line of business.  Your future looks awfully bright!
