RE: WinXP and related programs running slow with Clipper program open?

Hello,

Native Clipper is a bit of a pig. It has a veracious appetite for hogging the CPU.

There are solutions, even patches if you don't have the code.

What do you know about your Clipper app?

where would i grab the patches from?

RE: WinXP and related programs running slow with Clipper program open?

Patches probably won't do much.

Give of some more information about your clipper application. Such as what linker are you using, what linker switches are used, what kind of operation is being performed when you switch focus back to your XP application...

There are several strategies you could employ to make your clipper app more compatible.

Lyndon,

Dependant on the version of clipper being used, the patches really can make a huge difference - they can render the software workable.

I think you'll find them here:
