I edited a video in Premiere Pro 1.5 and exported it as a DV Avi file. Now usually at this point I would compress it using the DivX Converter, but for some reason when I convert, it either skips or shortens any spots of the film that has a title screen. To make the title screens I just have a photoshop document ontop of black video. If anyone can either tell what I'm doing wrong or give me a good program to compress this video without having these problems that would be great.

Try turning off Optimise Stills in the export settings in Premiere.
