You can now download Vista on MSDN.

I am not sure what they did in anticipation for Vista's release on MSDN, but it is the fastest download from Microsoft I have every received.

It flies.

Only Ultimate is provided keys at the moment; although the single download includes the following Windows Vista editions:

Windows Vista Business
Windows Vista Business N
Windows Vista Home Basic
Windows Vista Home Basic N
Windows Vista Home Premium
Windows Vista Starter
Windows Vista Ultimate

Both x86 and x64 editions released on separate images.

Perhaps they gave you Windows 98 and called it Vista, have you checked if it works OK?

Different story on "Connect" they are having a lot of trouble downloading and are blaming MSDN and Technet for tying everything up.

The opening screen says:

"Vista Ultimate - Au"

And plays Waltzing Mathilda.

Is that the right one?

Well that would explain why I'm getting a connection error when I try to log in to MSDN. Would you all mind pausing your downloads for a while so I can get in?
