Pro/1000 GT Quad card in pci-x 100 slot

(OP)
I have a proliant DL385 server.  This server has 3 PCI-X slots 2 are 100 MHz and 1 is 133 MHz.  I need to install three quad port I have purchased three Pro/1000 GT Quad port cards.  The cards installed inthe 100MHz slots are fine.  The card that is installed in the 133 MHz slot is the problem.  The server boots up and reports I need to move it to the 100 MHz port.  What I find very interesting is that PCI-X 133 is engraved in the card.  I tried to install the card in a DL585 in a 133 MHz slot and received the same error message.  Does anyone know how to get this to work?

Thanks,
