Open LDAP server in fedora 4 credential errors

hackery (MIS)
2 Oct 06 21:49
Hello, I am in the process of setting up a new openldap server in fedora4 and I am getting the following issues when I add resources: ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49)

I seen this everywhere in google but no real explanations. I guess my problem would be the domain setup. This will run on the company intranet but will be a private ldap server for testing. The company domain name would be lab.example.com and the server name is ldap. So the dc= should be dc=lab,dc=example,dc=com ? I am not sure about this. Thanks for your help!
