According to the header to this forum, there are 84 members on this topic, yet only 1 post ??????  If you are a member of this forum, add a quick 'hi' to this thread.  I'm just curious how many people actually frequent this topic, no other agenda.

          Thanks !!!!

Hi, there. Bregga has been doing Unisys MCP stuff since it was Burroughs. I really like the OLDEB interface to DMSII, if they had done it about 10 years ago, they might have had an impact.

Hi.  Frequent here?  No-o.  But I do get in here once in a while.

I also agree with Bregga on each point.  We also need NATIVE MSMQ or something.  No crappy kludge through COMS.

Does anyone here use DMS1100 or is everyone here DMSII?

Yes, there are users of DMS 1100 in the forum.  There is just not much activity in the forum.

It seems that "Unisys" folks don't do a lot of cross-site collaboration.  By this I mean holding "conversations" between and among Unisys customer sites and for that matter the vendor community.

I'd like to think  some talking goes on at least within  sites.

For myself, my interest is the Burroughs side of the house (A Series, NX, whatever we call it these days... MCP?) and though I'm not a DMSII guy my interests do overlap this area of course.

I've not been impressed by the level of dialog at comp.sys.unisys or in the vendor-operated "Unisys Community" web site either.  Is there someplace I'm missing out on where all of the great conversations are taking place?

Sure seems like a place for Unite to step up and take a role if only to maintain some relevance in an era of near-zero travel budgets.  I'd love to see a web site that published short papers/articles on Unisys topics and allowed discussions.
