hi,
i am using LMS 2.5.1.

When tried for archieve sync, it does fine for running config, vlan config but gives error for startup config "Failed to fetch config using RCP.Connection refused: connect Verify RCP is enabled or not".

Can you let me know what is wrong in this as this works fine for some other devices with the same config

thanks

Hi,

This is due to the fact that the telnet/ssh credentials are incorrct or missing in the DCR (Common Services) for the devices being managed.

If you put in just the snmp read & write strings, LMS can get the startup & running configs OK. But, the vlan file can only be retrieved using a telnet or ssh session.

...don't ask me why, but that's the way that it works. I've seen this issue quite a few times now.

HTH.
