DBC Table that holds statistics info?

DBC Table that holds statistics info?

Is there a DBC table that holds the last time statistics was collected on a given table?

RE: DBC Table that holds statistics info?

STATS information is held in one of two places, depending on whether its STATS for an index or a column.

I assume you'll want both.

The information is a little difficult to obtain from first principles but if you goolge for "HASHBUCKET SUBSTR" I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

I suggest you tweak this to something more useful for your own instance of Teradata and set this up as a VIEW.

Then use this within a batch script to automate STATS refresh on a regular basis.
