Where in the world do Tek-Tips members come from?

How can I stop images that are 'links' from having a blue surround

Or a purple on once they've been clicked

I've played about in page properties - but this only seems to impact text links , not image links

Please help if you can

Thank you

There are a couple types of image borders. To get rid of the normal kind use this css rule:
img a { border:0; }

The other type of border is one browsers use to highlight a selected link. For example if press the left mouse button on a link and move the mouse away from the link before letting go, that link becomes highlighted. You can then press the tab key to highlight the next link or enter to activate the link. Most browses won't remove this type of border no matter what you do.
