Request Output Viewer Displaying font text boxes

laudieda (TechnicalUser)

We are changing out our PC's and reinstalling our Oracle applications on the PC's(Applications 11i 11.5.8
Database Version 8.1.7
Platform:  IBM RS 6000 AIX 32 bit
Operating System Version 4.3.3)
We have not changed version on Oracle or on the Windows environment which is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2 on the new PC's.
Our problem lies in the Request Output Viewer which is displaying the font "text boxes"  on the Oracle reports.  This is not printing  on the reports but is a nuisance when trying to read a report in the viewer.
We have installed the same version of Microsoft VM on the PC, checked the encoding, and made sure the HTTP1.1 setting was checked.
Can anybody offer any help
