Hello,

I am running a VB6 program which sends eamils automaticcaly from our SMTP server.

Most of the time it works fine, but I occassionally get an error message which reads:

Run-time error '-2147220973 (80040213)':

The transport failed to connect to the server.

Has anyone had this error before??

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Regards, JP

I did a quick Google on this search string:
error -2147220973 (80040213)
and got 244 hits; check it out - maybe one of them will be helpful?
Good Luck!

I'll try again.

If you post the code that is creating the error and point out the offending line then we will be better able to help you out.
