i had to reformat my sony vaio running WinME but can't find installation drivers.  I only need the video driver, but I can't find it under the WinME driver selection on the SONY web site.  I think it's a Mobility (?) driver.  I have a Sony PCG-FX250 laptop.  I'm locked into 640x480.  Can I use the Win2000 driver. help. thanks.

According to the Specs of your laptop here: http://esupport.sony.com/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=PCGFX250

you have an Intel 815EM graphics chip.

so these are the drivers you can use:
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=797&OSFullName=Windows*+98+SE&lang=eng&strOSs=18&submit=Go%21

There are no ME drivers, but the Windows 98SE will work They are in all respects the same OS excpet for some minor cosmetic alterations.

Windows 2000 drivers will NOT. Since it is a different arquitecture.

Hope this helps
