Just wondering if anyone has seen 6.1 on a 3300 mx controler
yet
i upgraded one over the weekend and have noticed that now when a v/m message is left i now only get the mwi light on the phone and not the message on the screen saying. I had this message before and have not changed the the set up.
Ive check that it shows a message for a callback from another ext and its ok ,just not from a v/m message.

Waiting for an answer from mitel but as usual they are not the fastest to come back to us.

Actually I hadn't noticed the message display; my lab switch has been on 6.1 for a couple weeks now.

The big flashing lamp on the set flashes as it should and any companion sets with MWI keyline assignments flash as they should.

I see on the 5235 there is a config option (page 30 of the 77-page user guide) for selecting the method of operation of the "message" key - now that's intersting.

What model set(s) you seeing this on?
I'm out until next week but will take a look when I get back.

they are 5220s and 5215 ,am gonna put the database and software on a lab switch tomorrow and see what happens

could be that your COS for your voicemail has set it's "disable send message to Yes" after the upgrade. Should be NO as the voicemail system sends a call me back message to IP and digital extensions if it's allowed to.

Just check this and let u know

i have since put this load on my lab 3300 and it doesnt do the above ,it does show the message ect.....ive put it back to mitel uk and they have asked me to give an ip phone the same cos as a v/m port and set a message waiting code to said phone.....if this doesnt work reboot the icp...(ye right worked before so why not now)mmmmmmm
Have to ask are you in uk or usa/canada ....by the way?
seems the usa/canada guys get a better answer 99% of the time than we do here.great bit of kit but as its mostly software based the fixes are harder i feel.

oh forgot the cos is set to no....!

Can you activate and deactivate by using the fac and extension number?

yes i can but that only shows the mwi light which is correct .....message text and mwi shows if you do the above post
