Hi,

I am trying to setup your assistant lite, I have installed your assistant Lite 3.07, on my pc running Win XP SP1 and configured it to connect to IP address of our 3300 ICP, which is running 6.0.5.7. (We currently have about 25 5220 Dual mode IP phones)

But when starting your assistant it prompts me for the switch IP Address or name and a directory number, which I assume is my Extension number in this case 222 I am setup as a hotdesk user.

When I click ok, I wait for a while then an error appears, saying There are no devices available (deskphone:222 or softphone on switch: on switch: 192.168.1.6) Would you like to work off-line ?

Can anyone give me some tips on how to set this up ?

Thanks

Make sure you have your firewall disabled on xp station

make sure you can ping the switch

if the above is successful I had a similer problem and simply shutdown the PC and restarted it and all worked.

hi, can ping the switch with no problems I have tried it with the hotdesk logged and another user that is not a hotdesk, I am wondering if there is any switch settings or Class Of Service Settings I need to check/change.

Any further help welcomed, As I am a bit stuck now !!!
