well i dont know if this will work but try and do this copy those file from the web then copy the data onto cd.mount the cd if not mounted already onto your workstation.create a directory called /aixfix make sure you have enough space available on your hdisk.
1.in smitty under software maintenance and utilities select copy software for future use press f4 and select cd0 this would read the data from your cdrom drive.then where it says Directory for storing type in /aixfix ,this would copy all the data from your cd to this new directory you created .once you done this you can update all the other machines by mounting this file with the fixes as an export file.all you do now is run install update in smitty and where it says input device type in /aixfix cause this is where those fixes are sitting that u copied from the cd,it quicker lessof a fuss especially when you have a few machines to do,stops you from walking around.

well i hope this helps you, havnt copied anything from web and burning it to cd yet but it'll be a first,i have done the other part of using one of my machines as a server to update other machines across the networks it works fine.

goodluck let me know how it went.

You want to create a AIX installer CD? I guess you'll want some LPP creation utilities (by Bull Groupe), you can find these at http://www.bull.de/, under freeware.I hope it works
