Integrating XP & CMMI

Integrating XP & CMMI

(OP)
Dear Group,

I'm current researching the impact of software quality when Extreme Programming and CMMI Level 3 are combined together in software development teams.

I’m in the process of gathering metrics to compare the quality of software produced by teams applying Extreme Programming only and teams using Extreme Programming & CMMI combined.

I would be most interested to hear the experiences and views of members of this group on applying XP and CMMI together. Perhaps you experienced problems tailoring the two methodologies or gaining a great result as a result of integrating XP and CMMI?

If you are interested in my research I am more than happy to keep you informed of its progress and conclusions.

Best Regards,

Chris Garvey
