Hello group,

I've been consulting compuware on this.  My understanding is that with Uniface 8.4.0 or higher and Oracle 8i/9i and higher, you can use CLOB datatypes.  I was able to accomplish this.  However, I want to use the entire percision of the CLOB field without data pouring into overflow tables.  MY understanding is this is still possible.  I've changed my packing code to *SC and template to SS.  But I still can't stop overflow tables from being populated.  Any experience or advice with this would be great.

Thanks
Dmooreora.
