I could swear I read in the admin manual that ePortfolio will choose the viewer depending on which browser you are using.  IE uses Activex and Netscape uses java.

Well why then does my ePortfolio and IE use the Java viewer?

Is there a setting in the CCM or CMC that I am missing? Is there a default setting somewhere that loads a viewer no matter what it is?

Again I am curious what the settings regarding this are in the standard install of ePortfilio, ingnoring any custom development.

Thanks

Alexander

Check to see what your personal Settings are in e-portfolio.
You may have adjusted the settings in a past session and these are stored in the user profile server side.

So blowing away your cookies will not make a difference.

The default Viewer will be the DHTML viewer.

You can change the viewer in the
reportviewer.csp file, if you
want a certain default viewer.
