Jobs

unique count

unique count

(OP)
I have a report that is sorted by employee id and then the date and then the job number. I need to total the number of unique job numbers for each employee and cannot seem to arrive at a correct report set up for this. What happens is that if a job is worked on during several different days and maybe even skipping some days the count gets thrown off. Any suggestions?

RE: unique count

Hi Bob~
Are you grouping this report?
You may need to - 1st on employee id, then date, and then job number...
You may need to mess around with where the totals are calculated (details, group footer, report footer) to get the correct totals...
hth~
