After customizing a check form a user gets a message that states: there is no room to store those printer setup parameters in the form file. How do you correct this problem. |
|
This error means the printer driver you are using is not compatible with Peachtree. Try a more generic printer driver and then save that printer driver with your form. |

How do you get the cost for an item sold in Crystal Reports v9?
I have tried:
if {jrnlrow.rowtype} = 1 then GetPeachRowAmountv2
but it only returns 0.00's for every item sold.
I have a record selection: {jrnlrow.journal} = 3
3 = the sales journal
columns on my report include:
customer invoice # date item sales amount cost of goods sold gross profit
I am using the following tables: company chart customers jrnlhdr jrnlrow lineitem

The printer driver has not changed since the original Peachtree install. This form was a customized form created the day after the original install of Peachtree Complete 2004. The only thing changed on the check form was adding a text line that says void after 90 days. After making this change is when the no room to store printer setup parameters in form file appeared.
We copied the backup of the forms folder from the prior day and the problem cleared itself up until we added the void after 90 days line once again. No other problems have been encountered while using this Peachtree Complete 2004 version.
Do you still think it is the printer driver and should I remove and reinstall the original printer driver? |

I don't think this is a printer driver issue. I have done a simular check modification with the same results. If I print to a different printer (HP Laser Jet 4) with a different printer driver I still get the same error.

This is an error that has occured in Peachtree since version 7. Try a different printer driver, preferrably one that is more generic. The key is also saving the new printer driver with the form. |
